Understanding the New SSC 2026 Exam Pattern and Mark Distribution
The SSC 2026 examination introduces a new, distinct examination format. The revised structure includes a combination of creative (srijonshil) questions, multiple-choice questions (MCQ), and a new component: short answer questions.
- Some subjects will feature 50 marks for creative questions, while others will have 40 marks.
- The new short answer section will carry either 10 or 20 marks depending on the subject.
- Multiple-choice questions (MCQ) will remain at 25 or 30 marks for most subjects, with Information & Communication Technology (ICT) being an exception, carrying 15 marks for its MCQ section.
